Interior design, styling and property have always been my passions. Growing up in Melbourne, the daughter of an architect, I remember sitting under my fathers desk, looking up at him as he worked on his plans and drawings with his ink pen and tracing paper.

How inspired I was, watching him create spaces that could change the environment we lived in. I knew early on that a career in this field was my dream and it led to my study of Interior Design at RMIT.

Over the years I have worked in interior design, styling and renovating, as well as real estate sales and I recently spent several years running my own restaurant business. These career paths as well as extensive travel have fuelled my passion for the spaces we inhabit and my desire to create beautiful interiors for people to enjoy and be proud of.

A successfully designed interior comes from understanding a space and the people who use it. For me, an interior must be cohesive and harmonious - it’s when it all comes together and just feels right. It’s not overly styled or necessarily the fashion of the moment, but rather classic and timeless with a strong anchor that ties the scheme together. I love to find inspiration from architectural detail, well loved pieces of furniture or the view out a window.

All elements must be considered, from the space and proportion to the smallest of details and how it is to feel and function. I want my clients to have an emotional connection with their space. Ultimately, the goal is that your life should be enhanced by the space you are in and it be a reflection of who you are - your dreams, your travels, your passions. My task is to understand my clients vision and to create that reality. I work with architects, builders, furniture designers and artists to deliver unique spaces that are balanced and beautiful.

And last but by no means least the process should be enjoyable and stress free, so it’s important to make it fun. Lots of laughs, coffee and wine!
